Handcrafted Design Wall Lamp – Charred Ash Wood

This unique wall lamp is handcrafted from a single disc of solid ash wood, using the traditional Yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban) technique – an ancient Japanese method of wood preservation by charring. The process gives the surface a beautiful, deep black tone and enhances the wood’s durability and texture.

Each lamp is finished with a blend of natural oils and waxes, giving it a water-resistant, low-maintenance finish. A subtle C12wood logo may be engraved on the front as a signature mark of authenticity.

Natural Craftsmanship

Each lamp is handmade from natural materials, so shapes and sizes may vary slightly – some are more oval, others more round. Cracks, splits, and irregular edges are a natural part of the charring process and contribute to each lamp's unique character. These are not defects. In some cases, larger cracks allow light to shine through, adding depth and atmosphere to the piece.
